MEET FATTY BOY:

THE LEGEND BEHIND THE BRAND

Once upon a time, there was a dog named Ragnar—or as we lovingly call him, Fatty Boy. Spoiler: He’s not fat, just absurdly muscular, with a physique that would make any gym bro jealous.

Like every millennial dog parent out there, we did our deep dive into kibble options—shelling out cash, because nothing’s too good for our four legged swolemate, right? But despite all the research, we kept running into sketchy brands tied to stuff like cancer or skin problems. Yikes.

Fast forward to 2020. We move to New York, and boom—Rag develops an allergy out of nowhere. Suddenly, he’s snubbing his food, shedding weight faster than we could say treat, and looking more flaky than a bad Tinder date. His hair started falling out, his skin had hives, and we were freaking out. So as any overly invested dog parent: we started making his food ourselves.

The results? Instant glow up Ragnar started packing on healthy pounds, and his coat went from dry and brittle to pantene commercial silky. At 10 years old, he can still keep up with the young pups at the dog park like a champ.

Then came Jasper. In 2022, we took in this little 10lb nugget from a family member. Jasper was the kind of dog that looked at food like, “Meh.” No treat could tempt him. Until—cue dramatic music—we introduced him to Ragnar’s homemade meals. Suddenly, this once picky eater turned into a certified crumb snatcher. Now we have to keep an eye on this sneaky little dude before he eats us out of house and home.

All of this made us realize just how crucial it is to know where our dogs food is coming from, just like we do our own. It was night and day for our pups, and that’s how Fatty Boy Inc. was born. We teamed up with amazing vendors and turned our homemade recipe into the complete, nutritious meals you see today.

We hope your dogs love it as much as ours do. Just remember

kibble is for quitters; feasting is for fattys.
